V/H/S (2012) – IMDb

This movie is basically a form of compilation movie, with a rather unique story-line holding the separate vignettes together. Of course, the idea of the movie is rather esoteric for our current age, when was the last time any of us recorded on a video tape?

But that’s beside the point. This movie is based around the idea that this tape seems to attract trouble, as on this single tape there are a number of disturbing shorts from a variety of people’s lives that really seem to have no connection to each other.

To be entirely honest the first few times I watched this movie I didn’t make it through the set up sequences at the beginning, but once you get into the actual videos, it gets much better. However, because it IS so hard to get to the point where you can enjoy the movie, I can only give this movie 2 bloody kitties, because while it’s okay for a rewatch – you STILL have to get through the beginning, every time.
