Director: James Wan
Writers: Leigh Whannell, James Wan
Stars: Ryan Kwanten, Amber Valletta, Donnie Wahlberg
One of the first James Wan movies I’d ever seen – before I was too aware of him as a director. And it’s become one of my stand bys.
Every part of the country has it’s own ghost stories and legends – the number that revolve around dolls and children is quite disturbing, which is part of what gives this movie it’s edge.
The acting is good, as is the spine of the plot. I wouldn’t say there’s a lot of hidden messages, but I have noticed Wan seems to have a thing for bells in music.
This is a good 3 bloody kitties movie – watch, rewatch, and enjoy.
